Spa Franchorchamps, Belgium, 27th September 2013: Rounds 5 and 6 of the SPEED EuroSeries at Spa Francorchamps on 28 – 29th September will carry the AD Team Tiga brand as the official Event Partner.
LMP racer and entrepreneur, Mike Newton, resurrected the Tiga marque in 2012 and has been running cars in the SPEED EuroSeries with AD Team Tiga. In June 2013, Mike announced his full ownership of Tiga Race Cars Ltd. At this event the team will be running the Tiga CN212B first seen at as well as continuing development of the CN212A.
The 12A will be retain the pairing of Mike Newton and Alan Bonner, and Alex Champkin will be running in the 12B.

The AD Team Tiga brand brings together Mike's day job as CEO and Chief Technology Officer of AD Group and founder of Dedicated Micros and his Tiga Race Cars initiative. AD Group provide specialised video surveillance solutions to transport, healthcare, retail, government and industrial sectors. Mike’s passion for sports proto racing is infectious. He stands among the most accomplished of non-professional racing drivers and can claim a string of top titles including the Le Mans Series LMP2 driver’s title in 2007 and 2010 and two class wins in the Le Mans 24 Hours in 2005 and 2006.
Tiga, a British constructor and race team founded in 1974 by two former Formula 1 drivers, Australian Tim Schenken and New Zealander Howden Ganley, constructed race cars for various forms of open-wheel and sportscar racing ranging from Formula Ford to the World Sportscar Championship.
